nload allows your to view your current network bandwidth activity for both incoming and outgoing connections, live as it happens.

For Ubuntu use the following command:

apt-get install nload

 

For Centos use the following command

yum install epel-release
yum install nload

 

To access nload just type in:

nload

You can use the left and right keys on your keyboard to switch between different network cards. Alternatively you can use the command below to view all your network activity

nload -m
